Watch services

We offer comprehensive maintenance and repair services for all kind of wristwatches. Longitudi is one of the few watch services to have Omega Level 3 status. We can perform service of brands owned by the Swatch Group, including Omega, Longines, Rado, Tissot and Certina, following factory regulations and long experience. We always use original parts. Jacquet Droz and Blancpain watches are factory serviced.

In addition to the brands mentioned above, we also service new and older Patek Philippe, Rolex, Heuer, Jaeger LeCoultre, IWC, etc. watches. In the case of newer watches, we have a cooperation agreement with the watch manufacturers’ official service departments, as well as with country-specific special maintenance services. We use only the best courier services for service transports, and the transport is always insured.

We service older watches personally in almost every case. In special cases, we use a specialist recommended by the factory. We have such colleagues in e.g. Switzerland, Belgium, England and Germany. We always carry out the final inspection and testing ourselves to ensure the best possible result.

If the dial needs to be refurbished, we also have partners for this in Switzerland and England. We handle the renovation of most watch cases ourselves. We can also do laser fillings for steel and gold cases and remove engravings if necessary.

WE ALWAYS DO A MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT FOR THE WATCH FIRST

We examine the case, crystal and strap of the watch, open it and remove the movement from the case. We usually conduct a basic examination of the movement of the watch without extensive dismantling, although with some vintage pieces, we may have to remove the dial to make the assessment. We test the movement using appropriate test equipment and compare its timekeeping with the standard values. We test the movement’s mechanisms and verify the condition of the components in as much detail as possible.

Based on the preliminary examination, we determine the working time required for servicing the movement. We also look into the availability and costs of the spare parts needed for the maintenance.

After the assessment, we give our recommendation on the measures to be taken and a preliminary cost estimate. It usually takes 4– to 6 weeks to service an Omega or similar watch. Servicing vintage watches may take longer than this.
