ZENITH A278

Rare Zenith A278 chronograph from 1969. Rare and flawless “reverse panda” tritium dial with original hands. Steel case is in as-new condtion. Zenith cal.146DP manually woud movmement is fully serviced in 2019. Case has still original large Zenith crown. Case size is 37mm.

Zenith presented A278 model in 1969 almost in same time with El Primero models. Model had three different versions: A273 with white dial, A279 with silver dial and this A278 with black “reverse panda” dial. Movement in these models were 146DP, which was last manual wind chronograph movement from Zenith. This movement which was developed by Martel is known its high quality and finish.
