ROLEX EXPLORER 16570

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer II ref. 16570. K series from 2000-–2001. Flawless white super-luminova dial and -hands. Steel case is in good condition. Rolex cal.3185 automatic chronometer movement has been fully serviced. Original SEL 78790A Oyster strap with DE10 stamp from 2001. The watch comes with a red Rolex chronometer tag, original 16570 inner and outer box. No documents. The watch is diving proof, tested at +10/-0.7bar. Case diameter is 40 mm.

The watch has a 12-month service warranty.

Explorer II dial

In addition to the normal hour-minute-second hands, the Explorer II model has a separately adjustable GMT hand. Together with the fixed 24h bezel, it allows the wearer to keep track of the time in two time zones and in 24h format. The fixed 24h bezel was originally designed for use by cave explorers, so that they could distinguish between day and night in conditions where this would be otherwise impossible.
