OMEGA SEAMASTER 300 FROM 1961

Very rare Omega Seamaster 300 Automatic divers watch ref.14755 from 1961-62. Completely original. Nearly flawless, exceptionally beautiful radium lume dial and -hands. Flawless original Omega bakelite bezel. Recently serviced Omega cal. 552 automatic movement. The crown was replaced in service. Unpolished steel case, in good condition. Case diameter is 38.5 mm.

Watch comes with original Omega ref.7912/6 steel bracelet stamped with the year of manufacture, 1961. Also available with various leather straps.

According to the movement’s serial number, the watch was made in 1961. According to the included Omega’s Extract from the Archives certificate, the watch was delivered for sale to the US Sixth Fleet and US Military Sea Transportation Unit in Europe in 1962. The United States Sixth Fleet is currently headquartered at Naples, Italy.

The watch has a 24-month service guarantee.

Omega introduced the Seamaster 300 ref. CK2913 model in 1957 together with the Speedmaster CK2915 and Railmaster CK2914 models. The reference number was changed to ref. 14755 in 1961. The last straight-lug Seamaster 300 model was ref. 165.014, which was introduced in 1962. The following year, Omega introduced a 42 mm 165.024 model alongside the smaller model. The 42 mm model remained in production until 1970.
