HEUER AUTAVIA 7763
Rare Heuer Autavia 7763C chronograph from 1969. First execution model. Flawless original black tritium dial and hands. Minute bezel is in very good condition. Valjoux 7733 movement has been fully serviced. Original steel case is in excellent condition with original bevels all intact. Original Heuer crown and pushers. Case back has engraved inscription: Heuer Autavia, underwater stainless steel chronograph, waterproof guaranteed 330ft. and lightly engraved name of the original owner from 1970. The diameter of the case is 40 mm. Watch comes with hand-made Italian strap.
The watch was delivered to Finland and has had only one previous owner.
The watch has a 12-month service warranty.
The Heuer Autavia 7763 C (compressor) was introduced in 1968. The first model had a black dial with steel-colored hands and a white center seconds hand. It featured a snap-on compressor case back. The edge of the bezel was slightly serrated.
The second-execution Autavia 7763C entered the market in 1970-71. The tips of the indices on the dial were red, and the center seconds hand was also red. The serration on the bezels edge was larger than in the first model.
